Jackie Rawls is both a mum and a musician.
It was when her two daughters (now in their mid-teens) were much younger that she saw a need for - and an opportunity to set up - Musical Minors. Today (even as her own little ones are turning into grown-ups!) she still loves to bring her wealth of experience to encouraging the all-round development of toddlers.
As a working musician, she offers a vocal coaching service for adults with Charborough Music. She also sings with The Fat Cats, a Camberley-based band with a reputation for getting people on the dance floor at local functions, and is one half of Ambience, a vocal/keyboard duo who specialise in creating just the right background atmosphere at events of all kinds. Under her stage name of Jacqueline Petrea, she recently recorded her first solo album Would You Still Know Me?.
